Here is a painting I did

Light is Art
Ok so before you read this post you must know that my mind is very weird at night.
So anyways, I was trying to sleep, and failing, and when I can't sleep I like to stare at the reflections on my poster. Kind of like how some people try to find pictures in the bathroom floor. The crinkles in the poster are different every night, so I can see a different image every time.
That night instead of a weird blob I got something cooler. At first I thought it was a Legend of Zelda villain, and then I thought it kind of looked like a professor that had half and evil face and sometimes it looked like an evil professor wearing a mask. So after I while I felt an urge to try and draw it, in case I need it for a story or something.
Here's a pic I took:
I was going to post this to my personal blog, but there have been some security issues, so I'm leaving it here on the art blog. (there is some art in it, right?)

Random Sketches
I told myself that I needed some work on drawing humans, so I did a couple of quick sketches of them, and then got bored and completed one of them. Definitely not my best work, but at least it's progress. Sorry about the bad lighting.
Also, I might upload some of my doodles from when I was in class, but Mr. Yates has my chemistry folder so I'll have to wait until next Tuesday to see if I want to scan any of them.

Ninjago
When I got back from camp I had a really nasty virus that knocked me out for a week. During this time i had a lot of time on my hands where I was too weak to write, so i ended up watching a significant amount more of T.V. than I normally do. But since I was stuck on the couch i had to watch shows that my youngest sister Carrie could watch too. One of the shows i got into was Lego's Ninjago. The second i got better I decided to try and draw them as humans. It was difficult because Lego's all have the same body type, whereas humans can vary. I had a lot of fun with drawing their armor. Some of them had as many as three layers of clothing, and i think that this gave me a lot of experience for future drawings. The only thing that disappointed me was how Zane turned out. I think i could do him better if i tried again.
Anyways, if you've seen the show please comment you're favorite ninja! I personally love Zane best, and I switch Cole, Llyod, and Jay as my second depending on the season.

The Huntress
This was one of those drawings where you draw it and then you just keep adding to it over and over again until you're not sure if it got better or worse. I have a lot of those drawings.
Sir. William
This may not be one of my best drawings, but i am proud of it because i didn't do any planning for it. I was just at the pool with a sketchpad and said "i'm going to draw a knight." and poof! I normally pre-plan all my drawings and have reference photos and stuff but this was entirely from my imagination!

The Dreamer
This was supposed to be an anime version of me, but I ended up giving me clothes and headphones that I don't actually own. Plus, my skin and hair is not that flawless, but like I said it's an anime!^~^
I think I spent more time shading my hair than I spent drawing the entire thing. ;)
Also, if you look REALLY closely you can see that I have two dog tags, one from Power Holders and the other from Pangaea: Reborn, (one of my secret stories). I like throwing little things into my drawings! \(^~^)/
I used Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro for this piece.
